In the third quarter of 2024, the top news and magazines apps on the Android platform in Qatar showed varied performance trends, as reported by Sensor Tower. Here's a closer look at the weekly downloads and active user data for these applications.

Hindi News by Dainik Bhaskar saw a fluctuation in weekly downloads, beginning with 274 in early July and peaking at 355 by the end of the month. The app's active user base started at about 4.5K and grew steadily, reaching approximately 5.8K by the end of September.

Way2News Daily News App experienced a decline in downloads from 327 in mid-July to a low of 49 in late August, before recovering slightly to 74 by the end of the quarter. Active users fluctuated throughout the quarter, starting at about 10.9K and ending at 11.1K.

Dailyhunt Xpresso News Cricket showed a consistent increase in downloads, starting at 87 in early July and climbing to 193 by the end of September. The app maintained a strong active user base, beginning with 69.6K and peaking at 81.3K in late August.

Shuru:Public News & Local News had a stable download pattern, with numbers ranging from 80 to 163 throughout the quarter. Active users grew from 1.4K at the beginning to around 1.6K at the end of September.

Finally, Google News - Daily Headlines experienced a notable decline in downloads, starting at 134 in early July and dropping to 61 by the end of September. The active user count showed a similar trend, peaking at 1.1K in late July before stabilizing around 900 towards the quarter's end.
